wierd science are okay. Schatztruhe are fine (winderful, even) just avoid
the 3 you mentioned ;-)

you will have some performance hits. firstly, the memory access speeds on
the 040 PPC boards are lower. secondly you dont have a 3D hardware card for
Warp3D/miniGL so Heretic will be running in software rendering mode, not
OpenGL - at least you have a gfx card, so not too terminal. but Heretic II
gets 22 fps on my 240PPC/060/BVision in hardware rendering.

any PPC software falls under this category. comparing 0x0 v's PPC versions
of the same software really does show a wild difference. if you're into
rendering, then i'd strongly suggest Imagine6 CUP .

yep. thats about it. though you might also want to install the ppclibemu
system (allows you to run MOST PowerUp programs under WarpOS )
